Free Meditations For Daily Practice

The wonderful thing about meditation, is not just that it bestows the most remarkable benefits upon those who practice it sincerely, but also that it is completely free. Although there is a great debate regarding whether it is ethical or not to charge for spiritual services, I think if one wants to learn how to meditate, one can do so without spending a fortune. There are many great resources on the internet from where you can learn meditation for free, and in this article I will also teach you 3 great meditations at no cost to you.

If you need motivation to start your meditation practice, you can look even look towards the mainstream medical community now, as they too have acknowledged that meditation is excellent for your health and wellbeing. Of course, the ultimate aim of meditation is to help you realize your divine nature, but along this path to spiritual awakening, many material benefits are also bestowed by meditation. So whether you are looking for healing, peace of mind, stress release, psychic powers, or enlightenment, meditation is the answer for you. Especially given that now you have access to free meditation, what is the harm in giving it a try?

Below I will detail two excellent meditation techniques for you to incorporate into your daily life. These two techniques come from various Eastern religions and are among the most practiced techniques in the world today. My suggestion is to try both and then choose the one which you find most suitable and stick to it for at least six months or so. I am certain you will start to experience wonderful results sooner, but to establish a long term daily practice should be your ultimate goal.

Free Meditation #1: Buddhist Meditation:

Today perhaps Buddhist meditation is very likely the most widely practiced meditation in the world today. If you are interested in developing concentration, peace of mind, moment to moment awareness culminating in Self Realization, then this is the technique for you.

To practice Buddhist meditation, sit very still and bring your attention to your breathing. You may have your eyes open or closed, but most importantly your back should be straight and you should not fidget or move during the entire meditation session. Once you bring your attention to you breathing, you should count your breaths as they flow through your nostrils. Feel each breath and count one for the inhalation, two for the exhalation, three for the next inhalation, and continue till you reach ten. Once you reach ten, return to one and start over. If at any time during the counting you get lost in your thoughts, simply return to one and start over without judging yourself in any way. The key to this meditation, is to bring yourself into the here and now, using your breath as the anchor for this task.

Free Meditation #2: OM Mantra Chanting:

OM mantra chanting comes from the great Hindu meditation traditions and is part of the mantra meditations school in general. The meditation, uses mantra or sound vibrations as the target of your concentration to help you develop mental focus and insight into the ways of the mind and reality. If you are looking for tranquility, psychic powers, healing, culminating in enlightenment then this meditation is for you.

To practice OM Mantra meditation sit in any comfortable position keeping your spine straight and being to chant out loud the sound OM. Make a long sound "OOOO" and finish with a shorter "MMM". To further enhance the affects of this meditation, turn your eyes upwards and look through the center of your forehead. This will help to awaken the Third Eye, which is the seat of intuition and psychic powers. Also, opening the Third Eye will give you insight into the true nature of reality and help you realize the Oneness of everything.

Summary:

So there you have two great meditations to practice for personal and spiritual growth. The highest purpose of life is to realize God, for which meditation is the key. As I mentioned, the great thing about meditation is that it is completely free and can be practiced by all people. This is one of the greatest blessings in life, as it implies that each of us has the opportunity to achieve life's highest goals, regardless of weather we are rich or poor. I wish you the very best in your journey back to the Source.

Meditation Techniques

Meditation is a technique invented by ancient Indian sages who practiced meditation in order to find peace. It is a very useful technique to relieve stress of your day to day life and it has increasingly become popular all over the world as people are often stressed out and they need ways to reduce the stress and that is why they are opting meditation as the cure. Meditation is still practiced widely in the monasteries located in the Himalayas where Buddhist monks and lamas practice meditation in large scale and try to find "Moksha" which is the Buddhist concept for ultimate peace which they consider their god.

Due to large number of people adopting meditation techniques to relieve themselves from the stress of their regular routine work, find inner peace and beauty and have the sense of freedom, even the cities have tried to replicated the environment of the monasteries and they offer yoga practices and meditation practices to people. By practicing meditation, the people from all age groups have benefited largely in their daily lives. The impact of inner peace, which is a gift given by meditation, has been observed to affect the daily life of the people practicing it and they have grown more sober and serene than before.

The meditation is a minor part of the rich heritage of knowledge that is contained in the Vedas where these techniques are written in a systematic form. Along the inner peace, every person is given a unique word which acts as the carrier of the peace inside the body of the person practicing meditation. In order to reap most out of meditation, it is very important to perform meditation in a systematic and as per the rules as written in the Vedas.

Thus it is very important to be aware of the right meditation techniques as even though it doesn't have any negative impact, but when doing the right way can give you more profit in terms of inner peace and beauty, then it is unwise to practice it other way and reap lesser benefits from the technique.

Usually the best time to practice meditation is mornings when the air is fresher than any other time of the year, but meditations are equally beneficial when performed with a calm quiet and peaceful environment away from noises and clean air. It can be performed in fairly sound proof air conditioned rooms of your apartment any time of the day given that the same time is maintained for everyday practice.

Party Supplies and Party Ideas

Planning a party should not be a mammoth task, but unfortunately for most people it is a headache that should be avoided at all costs. From the moment the idea of a party is floated it is up to the organizer to come up with different themes for it, in order for it to become a resounding success. It could be as expensive or as cheap as the party planner has envisioned, but all in all it has got to be both fun and entertaining.

The party planning should begin with the food which constitutes the core of it. As expected it should be age appropriate, because, as an example, it would be in bad taste to serve hors d'oeuvres at a party for children. Once the kind of food to be served at the party has been settled upon it is time to look into the theme.

The theme of it should be chosen depending on the people that will be attending the party, and the agenda for itself. As an example, if it is for 10 year old girls the content and the colors used for it will be vastly different from those used for boys within the same age group. For anyone planning it for the first time this is where party suppliers come into play. These individuals or companies are in a position to provide the consumer with different decor items that the client would need for it.

In addition to this, the consumer not only gets the supplies they need for the party, but should they be lacking in creativity these suppliers could step in to help the party planner come up with fascinating themes for it in question. Whether for children, tweeners, adults or even geriatrics there are party supplies and ideas galore to be had by the savvy consumer. Taking on the extra help is what turns the party planning from drudgery into fun.

In short, as long as there are party supply establishments around there is no need to struggle. These companies have made it elementary for people to throw unique party minus the stress that comes with event planning.

In conclusion, gone are the days when planning parties was both difficult and time consuming. In this modern era, there are companies that have stepped in to bridge the gap between the party planner and the numerous party supplies. Therefore, whenever there is a party to be had these professionals should be sought after, in order to make the entire process as smooth as possible.
